Frank Leonard Photography Newsletter - January 2012 Hi everyone! I wish you well as we all enter 2012. Here's to a happy holiday for you and yours! This is going to be a fun month. As I keep saying, my eye for photography changed this past June. My commitment is to bring you only the very best of my work. My focus is on creating fine art images, both landscapes and nude figures. I had a nude figure photoshoot a couple of weeks ago. I am pleased to see that not only has my landscape eye changed, but my figure photography eye as well. I have posted seven new images from this photoshoot here on this website. New Exciting January Show: The seven images listed above are included in the twenty-one fine art nude figures that I will be hanging next week at Pure Pleasure, 204 Church Street, Santa Cruz, CA. My opening is in the evening, on Friday, January 6th, from 6:30 to 8:30pm. My opening is part of Santa Cruz' First Friday Art Tour. Here is the First Friday Writeup Of My Show. I invite you to come on out on the 6th and enjoy my art and the art of many others that evening. My show will hang for the month of January, but the opening would be a lot of fun if you can make it. I would be honored by your presence. I am totally proud of this show. It is a beautiful collection of pictures. You can view them on my website, but there's nothing like seeing a large, framed print image on the wall. I hope you can make it. New Storefront: I have long wanted a storefront. I first attempted to use a company called "Printroom" over a year ago, and had it working fine, but could not tie it seamlessly enough into my website to be happy enough with it. Well, that just changed. I found a way to make it seamless and am very proud to be partnering with Printroom. When an order is placed, the people at Printroom take care of everything, including printing, billing, and shipping. The storefront is an excellent way for me to get as many fine art images to you as I can. The people at Printroom do an excellent job of printing. I trust them with my images. I have ordered prints from them myself and I am very pleased. If you'll click here, I would love to show you the store. Prices begin at $4.50. Not using Personal Facebook for Business: I have decided to split my personal and business facebook accounts. In the future the announcements of new shows and other Frank Leonard Photography happenings will only be posted on my Frank Leonard Photography Facebook Page. I wanted to start up Mail Chimp this past month, and may yet, but it wasn't a month that lent itself well to the learning curve needed. Hopefully in January.
